3 Places I want to visit in Japan!

Have you ever wanted to visit another country? of course you have! we all want to experience another culture and visit someplace that is different from our normal life. Whether you have visited a country, plan to, or are already there – here are some places I want to visit when I get to Japan myself.

Akihabara “Electric town” Tokyo, Japan

The world of an otaku’s best reality, No Nut Novembers’ worst enemy, and first on my list is Akihabara! This town within Tokyo that is filled with all sorts of shops, cafes, and little surprises. You want cameras? CLICK! THEY GOT YOU! maybe you need a bite to eat after your long walk around the neighborhood – BOOM! MAID CAFE! (welcome home master). “oh no, I need to pick up something random for my house that I did not know I needed.” Akihabara has your back, just duck into a side alley or take an elevator in some tall building and you’ll find yourself in a hidden gem of supply shops filled with manga, anime figures, games, and guess what? HOUSE SUPPLIES! (Now that stain from…. Never mind).

From home and business to gaming and pleasure (wink, wink) if you need it I can guarantee you Akihabara has it all.
Noboribetsu Onsen is Hokkaido’s most famous hot spring resort. A large amount of Noboribetsu’s many types of hot spring water surfaces in the spectacular Jigokudani or “Hell Valley” just above the resort town. Noboribetsu is part of Shikotsu-Toya National Park.

Imagine this. Slipping right into number two on my list as it’s a cold winter day and you’ve been feeling tired and needing a good rest. You remember that you are in Hokkaido somewhere around a scary sounding location called “Hell’s Valley.” You look at your map (since phones tend to be quite a difficult thing to manage around Japan, ESPECIALLY if you are not in a city) and find a perfect place to rest called “Noboribetsu Onsen” A resort tucked away in the hills. Hokkaido along with the amazing people you meet there, foods you can partake in, and culture of its own it would be quite hard to leave that place for the cold cold roads during the winter months.

Get a load of this! What else do I need to say?

Just so you know “One does not simply drink without having a bite to eat” which why I’ll be serving up number three in Tenka No Daidokoro or “The Nations Kitchen” in Osaka. Whether you happen to be an early bird or enjoy the late night chills – Osaka has a place for all our hearts (and stomachs). I’ve always wanted to drink with friends since I’ve never done something like that and whilst dreaming of such an imaginary event Osaka happens to fits the destination in mind perfectly.

Osaka’s Night Life

From the tasty Japanese Savory Style pancakes (Osaka style Okonomiyaki) to the Battered Octopus Balls (Takoyaki) anyone would be able to sate their thirst and hunger in this city of feasts. With retro game shops and other fun activities to enjoy with you snack, anyone would be in for a long night of partying.

Be sure to spend some time in Osaka! Just like these folks.

There you have it, three places I personally want to visit when I go to Japan! Keep those eyes peeled because I’ll be writing up more works of art like this on the daily.

Do you have any places you would be happy to visit? Whether that be Japan or someplace else in the world? Feel free to let me know and maybe I’ll write about it!

Thanks for reading and enjoy the culture shock!
